Life Member, P.G.A. of Canada, Teaching Professional
KenVarty has spent over forty years working, playing and teaching as a member of the Professional Golfers’ Association of Canada. His distinct instructing style is the product of experience working and playing with some of the best coaches and players in the world.
Since no two golfers – or golf swings – are alike, Ken tailors a learning program to suit the individual — drawing the information from many years of observation, making it simple, logical and physically possible for the student. His love of teaching, unlimited patience, and positive attitude allow students to work toward success while having fun with the game.
Having begun his tenure at the Ladies’ Golf Club of Toronto, Ken went on to succeed as a player and coach on the Canadian Tour and in Florida where he won two events. He realized his potential as an instructor very early when he was asked by some of his peers to diagnose and help resolve their golf problems.
Ken enjoys helping a beginner get a ball in the air for the very first time as much as he enjoys hearing that one of his many accomplished students has won another tournament.
